This is rustic camping. We allow tents (no RV's - it doesn't matter how small yours is). We do not have designated tent sites. When you arrive you park in our off street parking lot, and then just pick out a comfortable looking location in our camping area and set up. We have plastic tables & chairs for you to move around to suit yourself. Campfires are NOT allowed.
Each campsite is allowed one tent and up to 4 persons. (we charge you based on the number of persons).
Arrival and Departure rules are the same for the campground as for the cabins and rooms. Late arrivals are discouraged due to the noise and disruption for the other campers (and our neighbors). Often we are able to allow a late 'tent down' at no additional fee... check with the office.
There is an outdoor hot water shower available at the pool and a flush toilet in the Office building. Both are available from 8:30am till 10:30 pm. A portable toilet and cold water sink are in the camping area and are available 24 hours a day.
We have a barbecue area for our guests. Propane camp stoves are allowed at your tent site. We do not allow: charcoal grills, hibachi's, tiki torches or anything else that could potentially burn down the resort.
The No's (you can thank our neighbors for these rules!):
What you DO get:
Everything our "indoor" guests get (ok, with the exception of maid service). You'll get our continental breakfast each morning from 8:30am until 11:00am, use of all the facilities (pool, bbq, hot tub, guest lounging area, board games, books & magazines). We often show movies on weekends in the Guest Lounge.
You also have access to our ice machine although we do ask that our campers (or anyone else using ice chests) purchase block ice if we are experiencing hot weather. That way we'll all still have plenty of ice for our beverages!
