THE 411

We are an adult property. Our goal is to create a quiet, relaxing atmosphere for all our guests. We are nestled in a neighborhood pocket surrounded by redwoods with stunning landscaping and gardens that bring a sense of peacefulness.

  •  Wi-Fi: Free Wi-Fi everywhere with limited service to the glamping area. Not guaranteed to support streaming video.

  • Quiet Hours: 10pm to 9am.

  • Pool Hours: Our pool is open and heated from May-October. Minimum age limit to use pool is 18 years old. We are no longer offering day use passes for the pool. Also, in an effort to be more inclusive, our pool is NO longer clothing optional. The rest of the year the pool is available as a refreshing cold plunge.

  • Continental Breakfast is included with your stay each morning from 8:30am-10am. We feature our specialty granola and quick breads — both made fresh in-house — along with local yogurts and orange juice, and fresh fruit. We brew our signature Flying Goat coffee and offer an assortment of teas. It’s just enough to get your day started!

  • Our lobby is stocked with local wines, beers and snacks to purchase for your convenience.

TV-Free Zone: Our cabins and rooms do not have TVs because our goal is to encourage you to unplug and partake in some interpersonal communication. Guests are encouraged to bring a companion who can carry their end of a conversation. We’ll supply the board games and cards!

  • Non-Smoking Hotel: Smoking is allowed only in our designated smoking area … which is in a beautiful circle of redwood trees.

  • Cell Service: It’s Guerneville, so it’s spotty. Verizon currently provides the best signal for cell service. Other carriers may not provide service in our area.

  • Forest Creatures: We are in a heavily wooded area and you may see bugs, spiders, raccoons, foxes, deer, etc. on a regular basis. Generally, critters mind their own business, stick to the outdoors and it all works out well. Occasionally, we’ll have visitors. Although nobody likes sharing their room with a bug or spider and it doesn’t happen often, but when it does, the office will be happy to evict the offending party.

    • Pesticides: We don’t use pesticides as we want to encourage beneficial insects (butterflies and honeybees) and spiders are the good guys (unless they are hiding in my shower, at which point, all bets are off).

    • Mosquitoes: Not a huge problem, but we usually see them around cocktail time. We have spray at the office for those tasty folk in need.

    • Final Word: If you have a serious phobia about bugs, you may wish to rethink your desire to stay in the forest.
